FROM:
Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB1887 by Metcalf (Relating to birth records of adopted persons; authorizing a fee.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
DSHS would collect a fee of $10, which is an amount equal to the fee currently charged for the issuance of other non-certified birth certificates. The agency estimates that the probable revenue gain would be minimal.
It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
