HB2333 by Hopper (Relating to certain statutes of limitations for criminal offenses, including the statutes of limitations for felony offenses relating to an election conducted in this state.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would increase the time in which a felony indictment may be presented for a felony offense related to an election conducted in this state from three years to five years.
It is assumed that any fiscal impact and any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.
Local Government Impact
It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
