HB2340 by Metcalf (Relating to the qualifications, communications, and recordkeeping of a child custody evaluator and the admissibility of a child custody evaluation under certain circumstances.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require after the filing of a notice, that certain records be made available on written request from an attorney for a party, a party who does not have an attorney, and any person appointed in the suit in which the evaluator conducted the evaluation

It is assumed any costs to the Office of Court Administration could be absorbed within existing resources. It is also assumed there would be no fiscal impact to the Department of Family and Protective Services. 

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
