No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would modify certain rules as it relates to the eligibility for a license to carry a handgun or the ability to carry a handgun. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
