The bill would amend certain provisions related to the allocation of fees to the transportation administrative fee account related to certain denials of driver's license renewals for failure to appear.
According to the Comptroller, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
According to the Department of Public Safety, there may be a cost savings associated with implementing the provisions of the bill; however, it is assumed that any revenue implications associated with the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact.
