No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Department of Family and Protective Services, using existing resources, to reimburse a present or former employee of the department for loss of or damage to personal property caused by a client of the department in the course and scope of the employee's duties.

It is assumed that any costs to the Department of Family and Protective Services could be absorbed within existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
