HB4377 by Villalobos (Relating to the retention of certain genetic material and genetic information by the Department of Family and Protective Services.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to retain the results of a genetic test and require that the results be confidential.

It is assumed that any costs to DFPS could be absorbed within existing resources. 

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
