HB5155 by Rose (Relating to the continuation of the maternal opioid misuse model of care for certain Medicaid recipients.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to continue implementing the maternal opioid misuse model of care, to the extent funds are available for this purpose. The bill would allow funds from the opioid abatement account to be used for the program.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
