IN RE:
HB5155 by Rose (Relating to the continuation of a pilot program designed to improve the quality and accessibility of care for certain Medicaid recipients.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to continue the Maternal Opioid Misuse Model pilot program and submit to the legislature a report on the benefits of the program to the extent funds are available for this purpose. The bill would require the program to be prioritized as a grant recipient of funds allocated from the Opioid Abatement Trust Fund to the extent such funds are available for use.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
