No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill requires state agencies, employers, and political subdivisions to use the E-Verify program for verifying new employee information and prohibits state agencies from awarding contracts to contractors that do not participate in the E-Verify program. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
