IN RE:	SB324 by Kolkhorst (Relating to requiring state contractors, political subdivisions of this state, and private employers to participate in the federal electronic verification of employment authorization program, or E-verify.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill requires state agencies, employers, and political subdivisions to use the E-Verify program for verifying new employee information and prohibits state agencies from awarding contracts to contractors that do not participate in the E-Verify program. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
