No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

School districts would be required to submit information to TEA on school buses operated or contracted for use by the district, including two-point and three-point seat belt information and the cost to the district to equip with three-point seat belts.
