No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code as it relates to prior authorization for prescription drug benefits related to the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.  

This analysis assumes that the following agencies can absorb the costs associated with the implementation of this bill:  Employees Retirement System, Teacher Retirement System, Department of Insurance, Health and Human Services Commission, Texas A&M University System Administration, University of Texas System Administration.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
