SB2041 by Hancock (Relating to factors the Department of Family and Protective Services must consider when selecting a foster care placement for a child.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the factors the Department of Family and Protective Services shall consider in selecting a placement to include a placement that can meet the long-term needs of a child. 

It is assumed that any costs to the Department of Family and Protective Services could be absorbed within existing resources. 

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
