No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize the Office of the Attorney General to determine when a governmental body is temporarily unable to respond to public information requests due to a disaster or other event that impairs its operations.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
