Pursuant to a notice posted on December 4, 2025, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Guillen, at 10:10 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Guillen; Hopper; Lopez, Janie; McLaughlin; and Money.

A quorum was present.

The committee met jointly with the House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism regarding New World Screwworm.

The Chair made opening remarks.

At 2:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
