Pursuant to a notice posted on April 17, 2026, the House Committee on Health Care Affordability, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Frank, at 9:06 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Frank; Rose; Alders; Dean; Luther; Oliverson; Simmons; Villalobos; and Wharton.

Review the level of consumer transparency in health care markets to ensure consumers have access to clear, accurate, and actionable information on prices, benefits, and out-of-pocket costs.
