Pursuant to a notice posted on August 20, 2025, and permission granted on August 20, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 9:03 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smithee; Cook; Little; Louderback; Money; and Moody.

A quorum was present.

The chair explained SB 11.

The chair closed on SB 11.

Representative Cook moved that SB 11, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
