Pursuant to a notice posted on August 18, 2025, revised on August 20, 2025, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Leach, at 9:02 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Leach; Dyson; González, Jessica; Hayes; LaHood; Landgraf; Moody; and Schofield.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

Due to technical issues, the posting notice was revised on August 20, 2025 to move the location of the hearing from E2.030 to E2.036.
