Pursuant to a notice posted on February 20, 2025, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Buckley, at 10:05 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Buckley; Bernal; Allen; Ashby; Bryant; Cunningham; Frank; Hinojosa; Hunter; Kerwin; Leach; Leo Wilson; and Schoolcraft.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

Chairman Buckley welcomed the committee and gave introductory remarks and organizational information.
