Pursuant to a notice posted on December 4, 2025, the House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Metcalf, at 10:07 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Metcalf; Flores; Cole; Kerwin; and Orr.

A quorum was present.

The Committee met jointly with the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock to hear invited testimony on New World Screwworm fly.
