Senator Hinojosa moved that SB 1371 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 15 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.
Senator Hinojosa moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Perry moved the adoption of the committee substitute for SB 2064; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Perry moved that SB 2064 do not pass but that CSSB 2064 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 15 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.
Senator Schwertner moved that SJR 4 do not pass but that CSSJR 4 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 14 ayes, 0 nays, 1 present not voting, and 0 absent.

Senator Huffman moved that SB 2065 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 15 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.
Senator Kolkhorst submitted a motion in writing asking to be shown voting aye on SB 868, SB 1371, SB 2064 and SJR 4.
There being no further business, at 10:08 AM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
