The Senate General Investigating Committee on the July 2025 Flooding Events will meet Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM for an organizational meeting to consider and adopt rules.
The committee will also meet concurrently with the House General Investigating Committee on The July 2025 Flooding Events to receive an investigation update from the committee’s investigators in connection with its inquiry into the 2025 flooding event as authorized by Senate Resolution 2, Second Called Session, 89th Legislature.
The committee may enter into an executive session to consider any matter authorized to be considered in an executive session under Subchapter B, Chapter 301, Government Code, or the committee rules.
No public testimony will be taken.
