This Act takes effect October 1, 2000 except that Sections 25.0633 and 25.0634, Government Code, as amended by Sections 3 and 4 of this Act, take effect September 1, 1999, only if SB 1163, Acts of the 76th Legislature, Regular Session, 1999, is enacted and becomes law.
