Remarks:
This Act takes effect September 1, 2007, but only if before that date the 80th Legislature appropriates at least $6.1 million to the Texas Water Development Board for the state fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2007, specifically for the purpose of administering the National Flood Insurance Program. If not appropriated, this Act has no effect.
